Barry Pang Kung Fu has been developing ever since the first school opened in 1974. Our kung fu consists of two complementary styles, founded by Ng Mui in 18th century China: Wing Chun and Lung Ying (Dragon Shape). Our goal is to preserve these arts, develop well-rounded practitioners and to build a wider martial arts community that moves beyond style boundaries.
We consult globally to spread these arts.
Wing Chun Kung Fu
Ng Mui developed Wing Chun specifically to be simple, effective and relatively fast to learn. After Grandmaster Ip Man taught Bruce Lee (pictured), it wasn’t long before the style became famous world wide. Our Wing Chun was drawn from one of Ip Man’s most long-standing students, Wong Shun Leung, in the early 1970s.

Lung Ying (Dragon Shape)
Ng Mui practiced several arts but her lifetime pursuit was the design and ongoing refinement of Lung Ying (Dragon Shape) Kung Fu. She eventually migrated to Southern China, to the region where Grandmaster Lam Yiu Gwai (pictured) learnt his Lung Ying. Our Lung Ying was passed directly from his renowned student, Wu Hua Tai, in the 1990s.
